Verlina (Bodily) Mayer

Verlina Mae Mayer was unexpectedly taken from us on April 1. Verlina was born in Salt Lake City on March 6 1957 to Verl and MaryAnn Bodily. She grew up in the Layton area. Verlina was such a giving person and was always trying to help out when she had a friend in need. In her younger years she was a CNA for local nursing homes in the Layton area ,she enjoyed taking care of elderly people. She later moved to Tooele, Ut where she met her common law husband John Jacobs. Verlina is survived by her husband John Jacobs, mother MaryAnn Bodily, daughters Stephanie and Stacey Mayer, siblings Sherlere (Larry) Perkins, Jolene (Mark) Marusa, Dean (Diane) bodily, and Kelly Bodily. Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren. Verlina is preceded in death by her father Verl Bodily and two sons Jimmy Mayer and Nathan Boren. Services will be held on Friday, April  8, at 11 am. North Tooele Stake Center 580 N 270 E Tooele, Ut. In lieu of flowers donations are being taken at a gofund account set up under her name.
