(Tate) Kling Obituary (2015)

Colleen Tate Kling passed away at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington, Nevada on January 24, 2015. Colleen was born in the home of her parents Thomas Theodore Tate and Merna Lavon Johnson at 400 West Vine St on the morning of April 20th 1928. It was the same home her father had been born in 29 years before. Colleen grew up in the Tooele/ Grantsville area before moving to Reno, Nevada in 1962. She was deeply devoted to her family, both present and past, as she was a dedicated genealogist. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded by her husband Gene, also from Tooele, of 60 years. She is survived by two older brothers, Clair Lindquist of Pleasant Grove, Utah and Thomas Tate of San Jose, California, three children, Robert of Spring City Utah, Tonya (Henson) and Jeffrey, both of Fernley, Nevada, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
