Steven Hoehner

Steven Ward Hoehner, age 66, passed away in the comfort of his home in Tooele, Utah on December 20, 2023. Steve had been battling colon cancer since 2021.

Steve was born on March 7, 1957, in Roseville, California to John W. Hoehner. He attended Lincoln High School, and then joined the US Navy from 1975-1977. On September 16, 1978, he married the love of his life, Cathleen A. Hoehner. They had two children together, Steven John Hoehner and Christina Lynne Hoehner. They moved to Tooele in 1991 where he became a civil service police officer for the Tooele Army Depot. He retired in 2004. Cathleen passed away in 2014, and Steve remarried his friend, Jenny Rose Hoehner, on February 23, 2021.

Steve will always be remembered for his love of motorcycles, cars, fishing, and guitar. His love for his four-legged son, Wally, was only surpassed by the love he had for his grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his wife, Jenny Rose Hoehner; children, Steven John Hoehner and Christina Lynne Hoehner; grandchildren, Christopher John Hoehner, Mya Marie Hoehner, Jocelynn Ann Sessom, and Kaydence M. Sessom.

Steve is preceded in death by his father John W. Hoehner, and his first wife Cathleen A. Hoehner.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
