Shawna Durrant Obituary (2014)

Shawna Jill Lassen Durrant, passed away Sunday, March 23,2014, in Brownville, Texas. She was the youngest child of Andrew Jay & Carol Lassen, born October 15, 1966 in Tooele, Utah. Shawna graduated from Tooele High School in 1985. She served an LDS mission to the Columbus, Ohio mission. Shawna married Leslie R. Durrant on April 27, 1991 and they were later sealed in the Lubbock Temple on June 7, 2012. They were blessed with two lovely daughters, Amethyst "Amy" Melissa and Kaylie Jade that were Shawna's pride and joy. Her daughters were a great help and comfort to their mother especially during her last years. Shawna is survived by her husband Les and her two daughters; her mother, Carol Lassen and sister & brother in law, Julie & Ricky Bell and brother David Lassen. She is also survived by 5 nieces and 7 nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her father, Andrew J. Lassen; grandparents; Florence & Virgil Ingram and Andrew E. & Evelyn Lassen. Funeral services will be Saturday March 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Tooele 4th Ward Chapel 192 West 200 South, Tooele with a visitation the hour prior. Interment Tooele City Cemetery.
