Michael (Mike) Wallace Messer 60, of Tooele, Utah, passed away on January 1, 2020 peacefully of natural causes. He was born in Colorado Springs, CO. on December 1, 1959 to Bernard Arl Messer and Lela Rae Murdock. Mike graduated high school and served in the Army at Fort Carson, Colorado from 1978-1980. He was married to Jeannie Messer from 1991 â€“ 2006. Mike worked for the Tooele Army Depot, Larry H. Miller, TSA, and many other jobs in-between. He was an avid collector of many coins, knives and Miami Dolphins memorabilia. Mike loved his pets; Haratio, Zak, Rocky, Gus and Buster. Mike is survived by his children; Michael (Alisha) Messer, Jeffery (Jamie) Messer, and Jayna (Cody) Hunsaker, grandchildren; Alexia, Maddox, Alivia, Jaylynn, Brantley, Brooklynn, Maverick and Bronson, siblings; Cheryl (Larry) Morgan, Linda (Dean) Flannery and Lori Woolridge, nephews; Patrick and Brian, nieces; Jennifer, Angie and Kelly, many friends, there are too many to list. Thank you for being there for him. Service will include a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Fraternal order of Eagles, 50 South 1st Street, Tooele, Utah. A graveside will be held at the Tooele City Cemetery on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Humane Society in honor of Mike.
