Michael Capp

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Capp share the news of his passing on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Mike was born December 9, 1968, in Sturgis, SD. As an infant he was adopted by Don and Marilyn Capp. Making their family complete.

Mike graduated from Tooele High School in 1987. He served in the Navy from 11/87-11/91. He was stationed at Subase Station Pearl Harbor, HA.

Upon returning to Tooele Mike held a variety of jobs. Mike loved being in the kitchen and cooking. He attended the Institute of Culinary Education, Pasadena, CA graduating in 2003.

In 2006 Mike went to work at Dugway Providing Grounds.

Mike’s favorite pastime included fishing, golfing, and watching his favorite college football team the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Mike will be remembered by his daughter Jessica Capp, sister Deb Clarke, nephews Ryan and Eric Clarke and their families, and long time friend Becky Horn. Left to remember Mike also include numerous family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Don and Marilyn Capp.

The family expresses gratitude to the doctors, hospice and caregivers that gave undivided attention to Mike in his final days.

There will be a private service at a later date.
