Mariah Megan Yarbrough
May 26, 1995 - May 18, 2026

Our hearts are saddened by the sudden loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and friend. Mariah Megan Yarbrough was the youngest of David and Heather Yarbrough's six children, but she was not "the baby" of the family. Mariah was the cindering coal that could ignite a flame of unpredictable excitement and hilarious chaos that could keep even the oldest of the household young.

Mariah was a fiery spirit who strived for independence and adventure who lived authentically through her love of art, mathematics, deductive reasoning puzzle solving - specifically Rubik's Cubes, and any musical instrument she could get her hands on.

Mariah loved having long form discussions on almost any topic. Being able to satisfy any side of the debate. You would think you had her on the ropes, but she would bounce back with a witty remark or two. Her ability to see logic in a poorly worded phrase was astounding.

When Mariah was little she enjoyed going on family adventures, midnight drives, many camping trips, and sporting events played by her siblings. She was never without one to one hundred stuffed animals. Mariah shared her love of problem solving and curious attitude with her nieces and nephews. She could often be found teaching them new games or art techniques.

Near the end of her life her struggles intensified, and she bravely fought them on her own terms. Sadly, various tribulations were too much for one person to handle alone as they often are for so many.

Mariah is survived by her father and mother: David and Heather Yarbrough, sisters: Ferrin Nash (Dylan Nash), MacKenzie Campbell (Tanner Shearer), brothers: Michael Yarbrough and Dylan Yarbrough (Alicia Yarbrough), nephews: Berek Nash, Harris Nash, and Bridger Yarbrough, nieces: Kairi Yarbrough, Ambree Yarbough, and Sarah Campbell. Mariah is preceded in death by her oldest brother Kristoffer Yarbrough, Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough, Grandma and Grandpa Nuttall, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing to say final goodbyes to Mariah will be held Tuesday, May 26th from 9:30-10:45AM at the LDS church located on 410 E Shelley Lane, Grantsville, UT, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM.

She will then be laid to rest in the Tooele Cemetery near her older brother Kristoffer. Following the burial, a luncheon will be provided by the Grantsville 13th Ward Relief Society at the LDS church on Shelley Lane.

Your support would mean a lot. Please donate to help cover Mariah's funeral expenses via Venmo @Ferriny.
