Loris Sheets Obituary (2015)

Loris Hanson Sheets, 74, of Pine Canyon, Utah, died early Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Our dear Wife, Mother, Sister, Grand-Mother, Great-Grandmother & Friend, passed away from Alzheimer’s Disease. Mom was born April 30, 1940 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, to Raymond & Doris Hanson. Loris graduated from Tooele High School in 1958, where she excelled in all that she did (Cheerleader, Pep-Club President & Class Officer to name a few). Mom has accomplished many great things in her life, and has been a true inspiration to all, especially her family. She was a published author & loved to write, write & write (and talk, talk and talk some more!) There will be a big void in our life without her here, but we know that she will continue to be the strong and beautiful person she is, and conquer what lays ahead. Mom was active in the L.D.S. Church throughout her life & loved the Wards she lived in. Mom is survived by her husband Eddie Sheets, son Paul Frailey (Tracy), daughter Allison Turner (Tom), grandchildren: Lauren, Erin & Elliot Frailey; Stephanie Busico, Greg Lloyd, Jordan Gamble, Teresa Turner, T.J. Turner; great-grandchildren: Gabriel Rael, Havyn Vargas & Jonas Turner. Siblings: Lorine (Creamy) Hanson, Loraine (Beasa-Hanson) Peel, Beverly Stevens & Raymond Hanson. Mom was preceded in death by her parents Raymond & Doris Hanson, grandson Zachary Gamble, and dogs Chico, Schlep & Bandit. A very special thanks to the Magnolia House Staff & Residents, Pine Mountain Hospice & Loris’ friend & bodyguard Leslie. Visitation & Funeral Services will be held February 28, 2015, at the L.D.S. Carr Fork Ward, 2045 Churchwood Drive, Pine Canyon, Utah.
