Lewis Perkins Obituary (2013)

Our loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, and friend Lewis Allen Perkins returned to his Heavenly Father on May 22, 2013. Lewis was born June 18, 1984 in Tooele, Utah where he grew up and attended High School. We are very proud of Lewis, he worked hard to obtain the Melchizedek priesthood. Lewis worked for North American at Kennecott, where he was recently promoted to supervisor. He enjoyed baseball, football, playing guitar, talking politics. Lewis loved his family and tried to be there for them at all times, he was an extremely talented, exciting, and loving person. Lewis is survived by his wife, Angie; children Madisyn and Kadeyn; parents Gary and Barbara Perkins; grandmother, Patricia Nelson; siblings Garrett (Sara) Perkins, Yvonne Whitehouse, April (Cory) Smith, Freddie (Jeff) Gray, Sean (Morgan) Perkins; extended siblings Chelsie, Mercedes, and Cammeron Whitehouse; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lewis is preceded in death by his brother, Ruben Fleenor; and grandparents, Lewis Hildreth and Bill and Paula Perkins, and many cousins. The viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main, Tooele on Tuesday, May 28 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the LDS church, 751 North 7 Street, Tooele on May 29 at 11:00 a.m, with a viewing preceding at 9:30 a.m. We all love you, Lewis, and will miss you.
