Kindra Scott Obituary (1979 - 2025)

Kindra Elizabeth Scott, age 46, died Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was born on January 23, 1979, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Mike and Laurie Foley. She was the oldest of seven children. She was raised in North Ogden, Utah. Kindra loved going camping with her mother and siblings. This resulted in a lifelong love of the mountains. She enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and studying wildlife. She knew all the best places to camp and fish in the Uintah Mountains. Kindra had a passion for family history. She enjoyed doing work for her own family and other friends and acquaintances. She loved crocheting and art. Kindra had a desire to finish her archaeology degree. Kindra was a kind, thoughtful, and selfless person who always tried to make others feel better. She did this by sending personalized notes and gifts. She was a hard-worker. Kindra was preceded in death by her mother, Laurie Foley. She is survived by her wife, Melanie Nelson, her two sons Kaden and Calder Cunningham, and her daughter, Camryn Scott. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 13, at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, at 11:00 am in the LDS church on 691 E Cedarview Street in Tooele. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
