Joshua S. Crane, 26, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend returned to his Heavenly Father on January 20, 2020, in Logan, Utah. He was born May 2, 1993 in Tooele, Utah to Ronald and Tracy Crane. Joshua graduated from Tooele High School in 2011. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New Hampshire, Manchester Mission. He attended Utah State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Movement Science. He then went on and received his Master of Science degree in Health and Human Movement as well as receiving the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Joshua was a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, an Exercise Physiologist, and CNA. He was a very accomplished student and was thrilled to have his research published. He was looking forward to continuing his education to become a Physician Assistant. Joshua was passionate about helping others, whether as a personal trainer, in the cardiac rehab unit at the hospital, with troubled boys at a facility in Brigham City, Utah, or just as a caring and devoted friend. The needs and happiness of others were always more important to him. Even though he was always looking to help and lift and bring light to others, he could not for himself. His battle with depression was long and difficult. Joshua LOVED basketball, strength training, making someone laugh, and striking a model face from time- to- time. His family and friends were priceless to him and he loved them fiercely. He is survived by his parents; siblings Donovan (Becca), Cameron (Carlie), Jessica, Caroline, and Savannah; nieces Felicity and Nora; grandparents Sharon Hohmann, and Ray and Rozanne Crane; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his granddad Tim Hohmann. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan 28, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. at the LDS Tooele 3rd Ward chapel located at 141 W. Utah Ave, with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or gifts, bring light and joy to someone around you.
