Jesse Remick

–

Tooele, Utah

Jesse Garrett Remick “Moose”, 23 years young of Tooele, UT died August 15th, 2020 at his mommas’ home.

Jesse was born May 22nd, 1997 in Salt Lake City to Clinton G. Remick and Tamara L. Remick. He had three siblings Austin, Guy (Courtney) and Abbie Remick. He also has two nephews he thought the world of, Daxton and Greyson. He was so excited to meet his first niece, Wytnee, next month.

Jesse was a jokester. Loved to fish and camp. He would also drop anything he was doing to help someone in need.

Jesse was diagnosed at the young age of 8 with type 1 diabetes. Something he struggled to accept. Jesse also struggled for years with drug addiction. After countless counseling, rehabs, programs and even jail he lost the battle. He made friends along this journey. We want to personally thank Tom Poyner, Rob Case, and Jed Miner. Thank you, Mountain West Ambulance, Tooele City Police and Tooele County Sheriff’s Department, for responding each and every time, and with compassion always shown to his mom and sister.

Jesse is survived by his parents Clint (Alyssa) and Tammy, siblings, grandparents Terry and Ingrid Jordt (Tooele), Arious Montoya (Grantsville) and great grandma Margret Jordt, (Andy, Tooele). His favorite nephews Daxton and Greyson Remick. He also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jesse is preceded in death by his grandfather Harry G. Remick and a very special nephew “Blu”.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on August 26th @ 6:30 at the Pratt Aquatic Park 200 West and Vine Street in Tooele. Please feel free to join us and share a memory of Jesse. Light refreshments and a balloon release.
