Jean Peterson

The dance has just begun!
Jean LaRue Jorgensen Peterson passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 27, 2020 in Tooele, Utah.
Jean loved to dance and listen to music. She loved to go to concerts and watch the bands play. She was a friend to all. Jean would make friends with everyone she came across. She could talk to you for 5 minutes and consider you her friend. She loved everyone.
Jean is survived by her son Brian (Audrey) Peterson, granddaughter Hazel, brother Steven Jorgensen Jr., sisters; Mary Tracy, Shirley Valerio, and Elaine Hutchenson, and her friend Tom Allen. She is preceded in death by her loving companion of 25 years Richard “Dixson” Scott Rudolph, son Michael Peterson, parents; Steve and Betty Jorgensen, brothers; Ken Jorgensen, and Randy Jorgensen, sister Fay Bloodworth.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Rocky Mountain Care Center and all staff members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8, 2020 beginning at 11:00am, at the Tooele 18th ward building, 1025 West Utah Avenue, Tooele, Utah. Please come with your masks and keep in mind to practice social distancing.
