Janice Kay (Faulkner) Lovato, 78, was born October 13th, 1947, to William Faulkner Jr., and Gladyce Lenoir (Clark) Faulkner. She passed peacefully in her sleep Tuesday July 28th, 2026, after valiantly battling cancer.
She was dedicated to her work as a dietician at Evanston Regional Hospital. She retired after multiple foot surgeries in 2001. She was also dedicated to making her house a home. She provided for her 5 children and multiple grandchildren. She always made sure everyone felt welcome in her home and ensured you never left hungry. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her time spent in the Church. She was the first person to offer a shoulder to cry on and gave the best advice and sarcasm. She was a spitfire and didn’t mind telling you how she felt. We will all miss her very much and can’t wait to see her again.
Janice is survived by three children, Rocky Lovato (favorite son) and Michael Thompson (favorite son-in-law), Troy (Andrea) Lovato (son), Christina Christiansen (daughter), Monique Searle (adopted daughter), Becky Lovato (daughter-in-law), and Stephanie Lovato (daughter-in- law).
