Gregory Bracken

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, our beloved brother, Gregory A Bracken, passed away at his home, he was 78 years old.

Greg was born July 17, 1947, in Tooele, Utah, to Reid J and Saxon C. Bracken. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer, wife Mary Jo Snyder Bracken, his parents, older brother Jackson, and younger sister Barbara. He is survived by his two younger brothers A. Vern Bracken (Vickie) and Bradford C. Bracken.

Greg was born and raised in Tooele, Utah. He attended Tooele High School and joined the Utah National Guard after. He became a Field Radio Repairman while he served. He served 7 years there and received an honorable discharge.

Greg and Jo’s favorite thing to do was to go camping out in Skull Valley, Moab, and Marysvale. They loved to go riding in their side-by-side, especially on the Paiute Trail. Greg organized the Tooele side-by-side group, where they made a lot of friends and would go out often with those in the group.

He will be greatly missed, but we know that he is rejoicing with his daughter Jenny and his wife Mary Jo.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 1pm, at the Tooele City Cemetery, 361 South 100 East, Tooele, Utah.
