In Loving Memory of Fay Marlene Ruybal
May 19, 1947 – September 21, 2026
Fay Marlene Ruybal, 79, of Tooele, Utah, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Mt. West Medical Center in Tooele following a heart attack.
Fay was born on May 19, 1947, in Tooele, Utah, to John and Ida Stahl. She was a lifelong member of the Tooele community and a devoted member of St. Marguerite Catholic Church.
Fay dedicated many years of her working life to the Tooele Army Depot, where she served as a CAMDS Supply Manager. She took great pride in her work and in the many people she had the privilege of knowing throughout her career.
While Fay accomplished many things throughout her life, what mattered most to her was her family. She had a heart full of love and found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. She especially loved giving her grandchildren hugs—a simple gesture that perfectly reflected the warmth, love, and affection she gave so freely.
Fay had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She enjoyed knitting, shopping, and playing bingo, but her greatest joy was being surrounded by the people she loved. Her laughter, kindness, and loving embrace will remain treasured memories for everyone who knew her.
Fay is survived by her beloved husband, Benji Ruybal; her son Travis Ruybal, his wife Jodi, and their son Zack; and her son Tracy Ruybal, his wife Kristen, and their son Hayden.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Trenton and Isabella, the children of her late son Troy Ruybal. Trenton (Troys Son), his wife, Michelle, and Isabella Troy’s daughter from a previous marriage. Fay loved all her grandchildren dearly and treasured the time she spent with each of them.
Fay is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Waylon and Riggs, who brought tremendous joy and love to her life, as well as her brother, John “Butch” Stahl, and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Fay will be remembered for her loving heart, infectious laughter, generous spirit, and, above all, the unconditional love she had for her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a legacy of love that will continue through the generations.
Though she is no longer with us, the hugs she gave, the laughter she shared, and the love she poured into her family will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Fay will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always loved.
