Emma Vario

–

Tooele, Utah

Emma (Lou) DeeAnn Vario, 17, passed away tragically in an automobile accident in the early hours of Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Soda Springs, Idaho.

Emma was born December 15, 2007, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marisa Wilson & Troy Vario. She grew up in Tooele & Stockton before moving to Soda Springs in the Fall of 2024. She was a Junior in High School, completing her education through online school.

Emma had a magnetic presence and a fearless spirit. She easily made friends wherever she went, she had an old soul, often hanging out with people older than her, she was everyone’s little sister.

You couldn’t look past her radiant smile and big brown eyes, but it was her fun, witty personality that left the deepest impression.

From the moment she was born, Emma was a spitfire-bold, loving, and ready for anything. She loved deeply, gave freely, and poured her whole heart and soul into everything she did. She accomplished much in her short life, with a natural talent for dancing and a deep love for animals.

She was a daddy’s girl at heart and cherished every adventure they shared. Emma was incredibly close with her cousins and friends who will carry her memory with them always.

Emma is survived by her parents, older sister Jaycie Peterson, many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather Kenneth Wilson and uncle Cameron Wilson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12-1:45pm at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah. A graveside will follow at 2pm at the Tooele City Cemetery, 361 South, 100 East, Tooele, Utah.
