Elaine Whitehouse Allen died Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born\nJanuary 21, 1927, in Tooele, UT to Alice Price and Stanley Whitehouse.\nThey lived in Pine Canyon until age 5. She was a member of the LDS\nChurch where she served in various church callings. She was a member of\nthe Daughters of Utah Pioneers in the Betsy Bowen Camp.\n\nShe married Earl Ostler Christiansen in 1943, they were later divorced in\n1959. She then married Thomas Robert Allen on December 14, 1962, in\nClovis, CA. The couple then moved to Oakland, CA followed by Alameda,\nCA where Elaine worked at the Alameda naval air station. They then moved\nto Fremont, CA where Elaine worked at Moffett airfield. They finally settled\nin Tooele, UT in September 1979. Elaine worked as a secretary at several\ndifferent places in CA and at the Tooele Army Depot, where she retired in\nNovember 1990. Elaine enjoyed teaching school and did so until the age of\n80. She loved to knit, crochet, water ski, and line dance.\n\nPreceding her in death are her parents Stanley and Alice Whitehouse,\nhusband Tom, daughter Linda Elaine Liberman, son, Jay Dee Christiansen\nand sister Amy and Ab Nelson, step-son Thomas Robert Allen JR, brother\nStanley (Bud) Jr.\n\nShe is survived by daughter Sandra Lee Murphy and John\nof Corvallis, OR, son Kevin Christiansen of Fresno, CA, step-daughter\nMarsha Allen of Sonoma, CA, sister Carol Graft of Tooele, UT, brothers\nAllen, Ann Whitehouse and Bob Whitehouse of Tooele.\n\nA visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 9:30-10:45am, with funeral services directly following at 11:00am at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah.
