Donna Hamilton

–

Holladay, Utah

Donna Fullmer Hamilton was born June 22, 1936 in Abraham, Utah to William and Leona Fullmer. She was the eighth of her parent’s eleven children, and one of her greatest joys in life was belonging to her large, high-spirited family. She is survived in death by her brothers Don, Robert, and David, and her sisters Barbara and Phyllis.

Her family moved from Millard County to T.O.D. Park in the early 1940’s to help build the Tooele Army Depot. She went to school in Tooele, and graduated from Tooele High School with honors. She attended BYU for two years. She met Glen “Bones” Hamilton in Tooele, and they were married on October 12, 1956.

Together they had five children, David, Diane, Sheila, Steven and John. They were also blessed with fifteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Donna had a unique relationship to each one of them, and they truly were the light of her life. When her kids got older, she had a career in real estate for a number of years, and had a knack for finding just the right place for new homeowners.

Donna had a fierce heart, a love of beauty, and a playful streak. She was called the “baby whisperer” by her family because she had the ability to calm and quiet any crying baby, no matter how upset. She will be sorely missed by her family, but will be happy to be in the company of those who passed before her - her parents, Bill and Leona, her husband, Glen, her son, Steven, and her siblings Margie, Ruby, Shirley, Millie, and Sarah.

A graveside service will be held 10am, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Tooele City Cemetery.
