Della Rae Lewis Obituary (1943 - 2025)

Della Rae Lewis, 82, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Rae was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rae was a mother to all she knew and took care of so many. She was always ready to help anyone. Rae was a true and faithful servant to the end. Rae was born on April 1, 1943, in La Habra, CA, to William G. Ireton and Alice G. Griffiths. She married Lawrence Dale (Joe) Lewis in 1962 and later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple for all time & eternity on June 26, 1992. Rae had 2 children, Lawrence William (Joe) Lewis and Renee Lewis. She later adopted her great-grandson, Anthony Lawrence Lewis. She had several siblings including Alyce Ireton Price (Delbert), George Ireton (Ilane), Robert H. Ireton, Edward L. Ireton (Vickie). She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held later at Tooele City Cemetery, 361 S 100 W, Tooele, UT.
