David Sheppard

David Andrew Sheppard was born January 3, 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany to Jack and Janice Joy Sheppard. He died unexpectedly on April 17, 2021. David was incredibly generous, had a lifelong commitment to serving others and would do anything someone asked of him. He worked for over 35 years as a Respiratory Therapist in the Newborn ICU, saving the lives of countless tiny humans. He was a mentor and friend to everyone he worked with and was commonly known as “Super Dave” to many of his coworkers. There is a huge hole in the hearts of everyone he leaves behind.
David is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, his children Anami (Joe) Blaylock, Shanti Sheppard, Jonathan (Bri) Faircloth, Hannah Sheppard and Emily Sheppard, granddaughter, Tori Blaylock and brothers, Mike (Ginger), Phil (Kathleen), and Dean (Liz).
A viewing will be held at Tate Mortuary (110 S Main Street, Tooele) on Thursday, April 22nd from 9:30-10:45am with a service to follow at 11am. All are invited to attend. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice. One of Dave’s favorite charities is Charity: Water.
