Cherie Lynn Rudy was born on August 5, 1968 to Carol Montgomery and Ernest Orr. She passed away March 25, 2020 at her home in Tooele. Cherie had an amazing love for her family and friends. She was always helping someone in need and was the first person to make sure nobody went without. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and nana. She was proud of her 4 children and 6 grandchildren; they were all the light of her life. She loved to go fishing, ride horses, play with her grandkids, and travel. Anyone who knew her knows she had a love of water, her backyard and being in the pool was her most favorite place to be. That’s where she did her best thinking, relaxing, cooking for her family and teaching all her grand babies how to swim. She always told us “Angels on your pillow” now she is the angel on our pillows. Cherie is survived by her husband of 12 years Robert Rudy and leaves behind her children; Jessica (John) Gierloff, Sarah (Holden) Yeaman, Dale Jr. (Crystal) Ford, and Chance Ford. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Dayton, Bryan, Trinitee, Kembyr, Luke and Austin. Her sisters; Christy (Jack) Wilson, Lisa Huey, Julie (Barney) Dye, brothers; Ned Jr. Hallett, Ernie Orr and her two loving dogs; Bentley and Porsche. She is preceded in death by her mother Carol Montgomery, her father Ernest Orr and the man and father that raised her; Ned Hallet Sr. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah from 9:45 – 11:45am. Graveside service will begin at 12:00pm at Tooele City Cemetery. Cherie will be greatly missed and loved. May she rest in peace.\n\nTo send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Cherie Lynn Rudy please visit our Sympathy Store.
