Cathy Lister Obituary (1964 - 2022)

Cathy Lynn Lister (Timmons) was born on May 26, 1964, to James and Peggy Timmons in Lakewood, California. She was taken from this life at the age of 57, due to long-time medical issues, on May 11, 2022. She was married on June 17, 1983, in Independence, Kansas to her best friend, Roger Lister. Together they had two children Jeff (McKenna) and Paige (Kyle) Hotchkiss and four grandchildren: Brooke, Colton, David, and Brielle. Cathy was a damn fine Navy wife who dedicated her life to her children and taught them how to be strong and independent, always telling them to be “tough like a Tonka”. She was always there to have a conversation and be a safe space. She loved crafting especially cross stitch, diamond art, and cake decorating. We would like to thank all the countless people who have provided help and support to Cathy in her life with all her health issues over these many years. Cathy’s family has chosen to hold a private celebration of life in her most beloved place, Ridgecrest, California at a later date.
