Carli Roach Obituary (1982 - 2022) - West Wendover, Nevada

Our sweet Carli passed away peacefully while holding her mom’s hand and with her dad standing vigilant at her side, on Monday, December 26, 2022, from liver failure, at the young age of 40. Carli truly loved life through simple pleasures, whether hanging with her beloved childhood friends or all her new friends she made along her journey. She loved to have fun and never missed a chance for a good prank or a good scare, whenever the opportunity presented itself. She was a loyal friend and loved them all to her end. She was a fierce defender of her brother and sister. She would get right in the face of anyone who talked badly about them or hurt them. It broke her heart to see anyone hurting. She had a great smile, a bright spirit and a laugh not soon to be forgotten. Her greatest loves were her dog Jersey, her nieces Morgan, Corinnah, Lillian, and Blakely, all her friends children, and of course her family. Carli Denae Roach was born to Mark and Carol Roach, on December 26, 1982. She grew up with her brother Brandon and sister Julene, in Wendover, Utah and a few years later in Wendover, Nevada. She graduated from West Wendover High School. She tried out life in Reno and Las Vegas for a short time while pursuing different job opportunities, but eventually followed her siblings to Washington state. She was a city girl through and through and fell in love with and eventually moved over the bridge to Portland, Oregon, where she lived until her illness forced her to move back home. She was a people person which made it easy for her to excel in her jobs as a bartender, and later a concierge with a company that managed three high rise apartment buildings. She was loved and respected by the tenants at all three buildings. She was passionate about participating in the Oregon MS Walk, raising money in honor of her grandmother, her mother, and her sister, all of whom are dealing with the complications of MS. Carli is preceded in death by her grandfathers, great aunts, great uncles, her Uncle Kevin, Aunt Sheri, and recently her Aunt Lori, who will be waiting to wrap Carli in her golden wings and guide her in her new journey.
