Amos Mascarenas Sr., our very caring father, grandfather and husband left peacefully to return to our loving Heavenly Father on June 25, 2014. Amos was born to Candido and Emila (Roybal) Mascarenas on November 26, 1935, in Penasco, New Mexico. As a young man he joined the United States Air Force and served his country proudly for four years. Amos later moved to Tooele, Utah, where he met and later married his loving wife Cora Brito in 1973. He loved spending time with his family and friends, traveling back to Penasco and reminiscing about the good old days. Many will remember him most for his yearly chili roasting, welding talents and the unconditional love for his family.
