Hi Outzen family. I think that Sister Ashby and I loved Keith almost as much as you. We loved the big hugs and the quiet peace that came from being with him. Our mission won’t allow us to hug all of you over the many miles from Australia but we can pray. Your family has always been an example of closeness over the years for our family. We loved riding by your home to see the whole family there on Sunday evenings and many other times. We send our love and prayers. Elder and Sister Ashby

I did not know Keith Outzen by name but he was in my restaurant every Saturday conference before priesthood session.I did not know he was from Tooele and I would never see him except he would be here rain or shine every 6 months.He sounds like the kind of man I would have liked to have known.You have my sympathy and conference for me will not be the same as I always looked forward to seeing him.

I remember that horrible day, Dec 20th 2010. I was driving next to the white car that was hit. I remember every detail as if it is continually played over in my mind in slow motion. I don’t think this is the right place to go into those details. I just felt I had to say how sorry I’m for your lose, and I wish I could have done more for Craig. I hope you don’t mind me saying but I believe that Craig passed on in peace. I don’t want to stir up painful memories, for that I apologize. He was and always will be “woman’s work” to me. He was a kind and generous man. I truly loved and admired him. And as sad as I am that he is no longer with us. I am glad that he has been reunited with Helen. The world is a different place without him.

I was so sad to hear of your Mothers passing. I didn’t know until 9:45 a.m and I live in Logan and had to take my mother-in-law to the doctor. I love your mom and oh boy did we ever have so much fun going to camp with her!!!!!! I will never forget the night of the moose. I learned alot from her!
