Elizabeth “Beth” Paystrup

Beth returned home to her Heavenly Father on Monday December 26, 2011 after a long and full life. Beth was born in Nephi, Utah October 19, 1918 to Ralph and Hazel Carter. She was raised in Nephi – graduated from Nephi High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many of the organizations. Beth and her husband were Temple workers in the Jordan River Temple for 12 years.  Married Raymond Paystrup in the Manti Temple on June 14, 1938. Moved to Tooele in 1940 where she was a homemaker and later was employed by the Tooele County School District as a Lunchroom Cook, retiring in 1982. She was a wonderful cook and shared her gift and talent with many throughout the community. She will be greatly missed by many.  Preceded in death by her husband Raymond, Mother, Father and two brothers. Survived by Elden (Linda) Paystrup, Roger (Jerrie) Paystrup, Glennis McGinley, Marvin (Michelle) Paystrup, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday Dec 31, 2011. Burial - Tooele City Cemetery.
