Born June 11, 1922 to Fayben and Deldee Larsen in Ephraim, UT, died November 23, 2011 in Tooele surrounded by loving family. Udean graduated from Snow College and Utah State University in psychology. Married the love of her life Spencer V. Halgren in 1951. For the next 25 years she moved from one end of the country to the other many times as well as Germany because of Spencer’s military career. She loved every minute of it. Her siblings and nieces and nephews took advantage of her travels visiting often. She was one heck of a tour guide. After Spencer passed away in 1979 Udean continued to travel extensively with friends and family. Since 2004 Udean has lived in Cottage Glen Assisted Living in Tooele where her sister Halcyon has lovingly visited her every day. Udean was always fun, witty and had a great sense of humor even in her last days. The family would like to thank her caregivers at Cottage Glen for their love and kindness they showed to Udean and her family. Udean is survived by her only sister, Halcyon of Tooele and nieces and nephews who loved her very much, Debra (Alex) Pacheco, Randy (Florence) Robins, Donald (Cathy) Larsen, and Deena (Brad) Anderson, and many loving grand nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother O’Neil, and nephew Larry Larsen. Graveside services were held in Ephraim City Cemetery at 1:30pm on Tuesday Nov 29, 2011.
