Kenneth Ronald Johnson passed away on Saturday, November 5th as a result of complications caused by a bacterial infection. Ron was 67 years old. He was born on March 21, 1944 in Tooele, Ut. He grew up in Grantsville and is the son of Kenneth and Marese Johnson (both deceased). Ron is survived by his two sons, Tony (Wuijwen) and Casey (Rachel) and two grandsons, Cayden and Colton; a brother, Kelly, and sisters, Karen Cole (Bert), Diane Karren (Keith), Ann Hardcastle (Brent), and Julee Soelberg (Jay). Ron served an LDS mission to New York, he graduated from Weber State College with a bachelor’s degree in Art. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed golfing. He had two dogs, Sammy and Buddy, whom he loved very much. Ron was well known as an artist and much of his art work can be seen in various offices and homes in Utah. He owned and operated AA Frame and Art Designs. We want to thank all of the staff at RICU, Medical Oncology, and Vista at Intermountain Medical Center in SLC for their kindness and gentle caring of Ron. We are grateful for their compassion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service for family and friends was held on Tues Nov 8th at Tate Mortuary. Interment Grantsville City Cemetery.
