Clarence Lee Keyes  1931 ~ 2011

Grantsville – Clarence Lee Keyes passed away October 27, 2011, after a short battle with phenomena. Born April 5, 1931 to Alma and Grace (Williams) Keyes. He married the love of his life Sybil Pulli May 4, 1963. They were sealed June 19, 2001.  Survived by 2 brothers & 3 sisters: Lamar(Janet) Keyes, John Don(Clifta) Keyes, Delores(Harold) Ovard, Fawn Rasmussen, Mamie(Kenneth) Billington. Survived by Children: Debra(Albert) Grant, Tim Keyes, Brenda Eaglin. Grandchildren: Vicki(Robert) Brierley, Michael Eaglin, Nicholas(NaCie) Grant, Shaylee Eaglin, Brittany Melancon and 6 great-grand children. Preceded in death by his Wife Sybil and sister LuAnn.  He loved everything outdoors and horses. In his younger years he loved spending time in the Chalk Creek area with his dad, siblings and family. He loved his kids and enjoyed watching all his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was an active member of the LDS church. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work. He worked for the Railroad, Gibbons & Reed, SLC Street Department and the SLC/County Landfill where he retired. He had 8 years Army service. He will be so deeply missed by every ones heart he touched. What an honor- not only to say he was the best Huband, Father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa but to be able to say he was our Friend, Uncle and Brother. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 2, at 12:00 at the Grantsville LDS Church 81 N. Church St. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary 110 S.. Main St. Tooele on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior at the church on Wednesday. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
