Reita Lyn Hamblin Humphries passed away in her home on September 17, 2011 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born to James and Reita Hamblin in Roosevelt, Utah on June 18, 1949; she proselyted as a missionary in Argentina for the LDS church and graduated with a B.S. in education from BYU. A wonderful teacher and mother, she is survived by her husband Dale, their four children Tiffany Shumway, Seth (Shaie), Lucas (Jessica) and Melissa High (David), and eight grandchildren. Her siblings Ila Larsen(Jim-deceased), Ruth Haslem (Myron), Arva Jensen (Drew), Sister-in-law Ruth Hamblin (James-deceased), Delmer (Barbara), Duane (Alice), and Alden (Ilene). Funeral services will be Saturday Sept. 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM, The viewings will be held Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 AM; both will be held at the Stansbury Lighthouse Ward located at 240 Interlochen Lane. Following the Funeral graveside service will be held at the Tooele Cemetery.
