Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Jeraldine (Jeri) A. Wagner passed away on August 8, 2011 in Tooele at her home. Her husband of 62 years Austin F. Wagner preceded her in death. Jeraldine was born October 28, 1924 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, moving to California at a young age. Married Austin Fred Wagner on March 29, 1942 in Whittier, California. Jeraldine is survived by two daughters, Fredda Root of Tooele and Elly Chaplin (Rick) of Erda, Utah; 4 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Jeraldine is also survived by her brother, Melvin Hull, of Oklahoma, and three nieces of California. Jeraldine never realized how much admired and loved she was throughout her life. She had many special gifts she openly shared with family and friends. A private memorial service will be held later.
