 May 27,1931- AUGUST 10,2011
On August 10,2011, our Brother, Father and Grandfather passed away peacefully. Charles was born May 27,1931 to Jessie and Oneida Sales McMain in Sturgis, Kentucky. Charles Served in the United States Army June 13, 1951-February 12,1953 during this time he served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. After his service with the Army he enlisted with the United States Air Force and served April 38, 1954- November 19,1957. He was dedicated to his country. Charles held many positions during his life. He worked at Tooele Army Depot, Tooele Smelter, Tooele City, Western Pacific Railroad, Metals Mining & Refining, and Bonneville Motors. His Father, Mother, Step-Mother Naomi/Dudle McMain, Wife Frances A. McMain, and Son Thomas McMain preceded Charles in death. He is survived by his Brothers Herman/Sonny (Judy) McMain, Marian, Kentucky, Jesse/Cowboy (Amanda} McMain, Marian, Kentucky, Ronnie (Gerrie) Wallace, Kuttawa, Kentucky and Sister Latrieve/PiJo (Joe) Davis, San Antonio, Texas, Daughters Cathy McMain, and Patty (Glen) Dewsnup, Sons James (Jalene) McMain and Robert (Kris) McMain, grandchildren and great-grand children all of Tooele. Utah. Graveside service will be held at the Tooele City Cemetery at 11:00AM, on Wednesday August 17, 2011. Father may you rest in peace at last. Until we meet again, we Love you!  The Family of Charles Thomas McMain would like to take this opportunity to thank Rocky Mountain Care (Nursing Home) in Tooele for the wonderful care our Father received while residing there. We would like to say a special thanks to Ms. Barbara Herrera (Her Chuckles) for her kindness and taking such wonderful care of our Father. He truly loved everything you did for him!!
