Melissa Annette Poole 1984 – 2011
Melissa Annette Poole, born June 21, 1984, passed away unexpectedly from complications after surgery on July 29, 2011 at the tender age of 27. Melissa was an incredibly vibrant person who had been making great strides in her life. She graduated from high school on July 14th and couldn’t have been prouder. She left this world happier and healthier than she had ever been and was so proud of all of her recent accomplishments. She loved her family very much and is survived by her mother, Sheila Poole-Day, her father and step-mother, Gary and Gail Poole, her sisters and brother, Michelle, Dawn, Diane and Patrick, her nieces and nephew, Jazmin, Jeada and Diego, as well as her grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Melissa’s family has a memorial fund in place to help defer the funeral costs. In lieu of flowers, please go to any America First Credit Union to donate to the Melissa Poole Memorial Fund. There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 4th, from 6-8 pm at Tate Mortuary at 110 S. Main Street, Tooele, UT. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 5th, at 11 am at the LDS Church Building on 1000 W. Utah Ave., Tooele, UT. Melissa will be laid to rest in Carlin, NV on August 6th.
