Loretta Gaye Anderson Hamp returned home on July 14, 2011 with family by her side. She was born on Aug. 5, 1934, to Lester Mozart and Nora G. Anderson. Was raised in Grantsvil1e until she married her sweetheart Ear1en J. Hamp on July 21, 1950. Celebrating almost 61 years. She was blessed with 5 children, 25 Grandchildren, and 29 Great Grandchildren and one on the way. Family was her pride and joy. She worked at many places Cornets, TEAD, Wal-Mart, Hampton Inn, Stanley Home products, Tupperware, But will be best known for her ownership of ABC Preschool, and the Casa Del Cielo.. She served many postions in Stockton Recreation, where she helped to put together and build Alex Baker Ball Park in Stockton, She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Where she held many callings, and served a 2 year service mission in Tooele. She wrote Road Shows, Plays, Ward Parties. She had a never ending food storage and fed many family and friends. She is survived by her husband, children, Jay (Pearl) Hamp Az., Ron (Brenda) Hamp Wyo., Sherry (Glen) Tomboc Tooele, Dee Peezly , Don Hamp SLC, A special daughter in law LaDawn Hamp. Brothers Chuck Anderson, Kay (Patsy) Anderson, Sister Sharon (Bob) Owens, Brother-in-Law Lowell Durfee, Sister-in-law Ruby Hamp. Preceded in death by Parents, siblings, Al Horman, Les Anderson, Harold Anderson, Ida Durfee, sisters-in-law, Pat Anderson, Mona Hamp, Brothers-in-law Bill Hamp, and Floyd Hamp. And a special little angel great grandson Jacob Fawson. The family would like to thank her many friends and the Middle Canyon Ward, all the workers at Rocky Mountain Care & Hospice Center, special friend Kyle Foulon for all the care they gave her and her family at this difficult time. Mom had an innate ability to touch lives of each and every person she came in contact with. Mom we love and miss you! Services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Middle Canyon Ward Chapel 777 West Skyline Dr Tooele with a viewing that morning from 11:30 to 12:30 at the church. There will also be a viewing at Tate Mortuary 110 S Main St Tooele, Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
