1941 – 2011
Sharron “Lee” Smith passed away peacefully and returned to his Heavenly Father on June 19, 2011. He was born to Wilford A. (Bill) and Louise Smith on August 23, 1041. Lee was a longtime resident of Tooele. He attended Tooele Schools and enjoyed all Tooele had to offer. He loved to fish, camp & hunt with his family in his younger years, Lee served an LDS Mission but was unable to complete due to illness. He later entered the military and retired after 20 years of honorable service. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Don Smith, Kenny Smith, sister Louise Shingledecker, brother-in-law Pete Shingledecker, sister-in-law Leola Smith and nephew Todd Smith. He is survived by his brother Doug Smith (Jackie), sister-in-law Melba Smith, very dear friend Mike Gamble and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 22, 2011 at 12:00noon at Tate Mortuary 110 So Main St. Tooele, where friends may call 1 hr prior. Interment in the Tooele City Cemetery.
