Iola Erickson Reed, a long time resident of Grantsville, Utah died peacefully in Farmington, Utah while dozing in her chair after a full day of errands and shopping with a daughter. She will be remembered for her pleasant, positive attitude and sense of humor while enduring life’s unpredictable twists and turns. Iola was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James T. Reed; her sister Fern Williams and brothers Garth and Nathan Erickson. She will be missed by her children James (Merry) Reed- South Jordan UT; Vicky (Robert) Fowers -Hooper UT; Sherryl (Paul) Crockett – Farmington UT; Jay (Kathy) Reed- Pleasant Grove UT; Jeff (Janette) Reed -Roy UT; 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Iola will be held in the LDS Stake Center at 550 E Durfee Street in Grantsville, Utah, on Tuesday, July 5 at noon. A viewing for friends and family will precede the funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m.
