Our Precious beautiful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend left this mortal life May 31,2011, surrounded by her husband, parents and family. Stephanie was born February 27,1973 to Everett and Sharlene Lance Peterson. She married her sweetheart, Alfonso Diaz, June 20,2009 in the Salt Lake Temple. She graduated from Tooele High School, with honors in 1991. Graduated from Southern Utah University in June 1997. She served an honorable LDS mission in Salta Argentina from June 1994 to December 1995. She was currently employed by the Tooele County Health Department. Every year since she was two, Stephanie, her Mom and Grandma Lance would go to her favorite place; Disneyland. She loved it all, but especially Snow White. She was very talented in music. She played the piano for church meetings and programs. She had a beautiful singing voice, both in English and Spanish. She was always willing to share her talents and she held various church callings. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Alfonso Diaz, parents, Everett and Sharlene, brothers, Daniel (Carolyn) Mark (Monica) and Lance (Aubrey). She loved her nieces and nephews, Mark, Miranda, Michael, Marnie, Marlie, Dalton and Haylee. She had a great love for children. We are all going to miss you so much because we all loved you so much. You are our special angel. She was preceded in death by grandparents Orson and Mable Lance, Everett and Eldean Peterson and a niece, Kaylee. There will be a viewing for Stephanie at Tate Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 3. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. June 4 at Tooele Valley View Stake Center, 332 East 1000 North with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:15.
