I can’t remember if I am “Skun Jun” or “Linny Pinny”, but I loved all the names Uncle Bob gave to everyone. Mom loved that he called her “Teddy”.
Uncle Bob always had a good story to tell – we especially loved the sacrament meeting stories. When he dedicated Mom’s grave 4 years ago he told the story of growing up in Garfield and always getting ‘lickin’s', sometimes every day. I also remember the story of Grandma & Grandpa Davis crying when they saw him coming home from the Merchant Marines because he was so skinny.
As sad as his passing is, I can’t help but think what a wonderful reunion it must have been yesterday – Bob, Doris, Madge, Irene, Grandma & Grandpa.
I only met him a few times, what a sence of humor. You will be missed by many. Go reunite with those that have missed you and those that you have miss. Much love goes out to the family that you have left behind, you will forever be loved and missed.
