Kathrine Marie Ashworth Wahlen, Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend peacefully passed away March 1, 2011 at her home in Stansbury Park Utah surrounded by her family. Born September 2, 1953 in SLC, Utah to Mike & Emma Jean Dickinson Ashworth. She married her sweetheart Don E. Wahlen Nov. 7, 1981 in Salt Lake City, UT, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Aug. 3, 1983
Kathy was an accomplished cosmetologist and worked with her father in his barber shop for several years. She loved crafts & creating flower arrangements. She could turn any throw away item into a precious treasury. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survived by her loving Husband Don, Daughters: Misty (Richard), Heather (Greg), Son: Kameron. 8 Grandchildren, Sisters: Anna (Dave), Susan (Don), Peggy (Dave), Brothers: Michael (Betty), Ken (Jan) Preceded in death by; Parents, daughter Stephanie. Services will be held Friday, March 4, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at The Stansbury Utah Stake Center 417 East Benson Road, Stansbury Park, UT 84074. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 S Main, Tooele, UT, 84074 and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the Church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, UT 84092
