Our loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother Cecilia Montoya passed away peacefully Tuesday morning March 1st surrounded by her family. She was born to Tomas & Rebecca Martinez August 4, 1928 in Park View, NM. Cecilia married Vincent Montoya in 1946. They moved to Stockton, Utah in 1952 where they raised 10 children. She enjoyed her grandchildren and trips to Wendover. Cecilia is survived by children: Frances (Antonio) Montoya, Ellie (Conrad) Abeyta, Montsey (Frank) Salamanca, George (Blanca) Montoya, Don (Esther) Montoya, Patsy (Donald) Jones, Mary (Gilbert) Maestas, Angela (Raymond) Garcia, Daughters-in Law: Joyce Montoya and Josie Martinez. Sister, Virginia Velasquez, 29 Grandchildren, 59 Great-grandchildren, 6 Great-great-Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Jim Montoya, and Tom Martinez and 3 Grandchildren. Visitation Thursday March 3, from 6 to 7 pm Rosary at 7pm at St Marguerite’s Catholic Church 15 S 7th Street, Tooele. Funeral Mass Friday March 4, at 11AM with Visitation at 10AM also at the church. Interment Tooele City Cemetery. The family would like to thank Harmony Home Health & Hospice, Jamie Hansen, her nurse, and Inez her CNA, for their compassionate service.
