1922-2011
Anne E. Winnegge, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on March 19, 2011 of natural causes at the age of 88. She was born in North Dakota to Mary and John Munro on December 21, 1922 in Crary North Dakota as one of seven children. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Winnegge whom she married in 1947 and by her brothers Angus, Bill and Bob, and sisters Edna Mae and Florence. She is survived by her sister Irene Olson, son Louis Winnegge and daughter Linda Macchia, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Anne will be remembered for her volunteer work at Granger Medical Center, the Senior Citizens, the women’s shelter and as a 15 year member of the Tooele City Police Senior Patrol. In addition Anne served as president of the Eagles Auxiliary, the Ladies Elks, the State PAAP and was a Mother of the Eagles Auxiliary. In accordance with Anne’s wishes she will be cremated and interred next to her husband. Memorial services will be held at Tate mortuary on Friday March 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Tooele cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will begin one hour prior to service.
