Jean Neilson Higgs was born April 30, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ervin Neilson and Elsie Parry Neilson, passed away Sunday Feb 6, 2011 in American Fork, Utah. Graduated from West High School in 1944 and Stevens-Henager Business College in 1945. Married Junior Higgs April 17, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, performed by Harold B. Lee. They would have celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on April 17th. Survived by husband, Junior; children Terry (Anita) Higgs, Roy, Utah; Linda (Marvin) Wilcock, Lehi, Utah; Randy (Cris) Higgs, Modesto, CA; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, brother Richard Neilson, West Valley City, Utah. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Florence, great-granddaughter Taylor Jarman. Services will be held at the 11th/27th Ward building located at 180 So Coleman St. Tooele, Utah on Saturday Feb 12, 2011 at 11:00AM. Viewing will be held 1 hr prior to the service. Interment in the Bluffdale Cemetery 14175 South Redwood Rd in Bluffdale at 2:00PM.
