Doris Gillespie Hall 1929-2011
On February 4, she joined her friends and family that preceded her in death. Born in Salt Lake City to Ed and Mildred Johnson Gillespie and reared in Tooele. Her impact upon life was immediate. She was a loving, devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother, and her personal accomplishments are many. She was an excellent horse-women, a clothing and hair-style model, and a graduate of the University of Utah in the field of dietetics. She deferred her professional career in order to complete her most treasured accomplishment which was to be a full-time mother and homemaker. She superbly guided her sons to manhood, affording them each a professional education at her alma mater. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Chuck, and is survived by her husband Gordon, sons Rick and Craig, grand-son Brian and great-grand-children Alannah, Shaniah and Jadin. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm Friday February 11th at Tooele City Cemetery.
