She attended schools in Park City and had such fond memories of her childhood. She married Ray Benton Culley on Oct. 14, 1939. They lived in Tooele and had five children. They later divorced in 1964.
She enjoyed people and spent many years working at the Unexeled Café, the Kirk Hotel Coffee Shop, the Kitty Hawk Restaurant, and the 76 Truck Stop. She lived at the senior housing in Grantsville for 21 years. Through the years Ardella loved ballroom dancing, big band music, reading, and walking every day.
Ardella is survived by her children: Bill (Judi) of Liberty, Utah; Jackie (Farrell) Bryan of Ogden, Utah; Ted of Tooele; Dale of Grantsville; Ruth (Ron) Averett of West Jordan, Utah; 16 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Hazel Kratz and Eileen Pitt.
The family expresses their deep appreciation to the staff at the Rocky Mountain Care Center for their loving care and concern.
Honoring Ardella’s request, there will be a private family service
