Wesley (Duffy) Andersen returned to his Heavenly Father January 30, 2011, at the age of 87. He was born August 12, 1923 in San Francisco, California to William Andersen and Rachel Arbon. He spent his early years in San Francisco, but made Grantsville his home for the majority of his life. He spent his life farming and raising cattle. He took great pleasure and pride in his pure-bred Polled Herefords. He loved his many Border Collie dogs and named them all “Peggy” or “Peg”. After he gave up raising cattle, he became interested in gardening and shared his gardening skills with everyone. He was a member of the LDS Cooley Branch. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy Muller and Gloria Martin, and brother Bill Andersen all of California. He is survived by his nephew Jeff Muller and nieces Kristine Runne and Leslie Bosse all of California. Graveside services will be held on February 2nd, 2011 1:00 pm at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
