William E. Aviles passed away at his home in Manteca, Calif., on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 at the age of 53. William was born on Oct. 17, 1957 to Enrique and Maria Aviles in Tooele. He was best known for his keen intellect which he used to excel in mechanics and machinery and his spectacular sense of humor. As an avid motorcyclist, he loved to travel all over the country. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Virgina Aviles; children Jessica Aviles, Ronald Caughie, Tina Caughie, Enrique Aviles, Whitney Vargas; 11 grandchildren; mother Maria Aviles; siblings, Carmen Trujillo, Pedro Aviles, Inez Hequet, Herman Aviles, Gladys Medina, Louis Aviles, Brunilda Arellano, Robert Aviles, Irma Aviles, Ismael Aviles, George Aviles, Luz Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Aviles (Dec. 22, 1914 to Jan. 22, 1992). A viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Marguerite’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be Friday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m., also at St. Marguerite’s Catholic Church. Interment Tooele City Cemetery.
