After being confined to a wheel chair at the young age of 19, she was told that her options in life were limited, as well as her life expectancy. Her strong will to live, strength of character and enduring constitution enabled her to surpass all predictions, and to raise a loving family, and to live a full, gratifying life. Her ability to laugh through difficult times, her wisdom in knowing that family and love are what matters, her ability to love unconditionally while lending a nonjudgmental ear are but a few of life lessons she has taught by example to those blessed enough to have known her.
