Robert Grover

Robert “Bob” William Grover passed away on October 19, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on December 13, 1946 to Ivan and Shirley Lee Grover. Bob grew up in Magna, Utah and moved to Tooele in his teen years. He played football for both Cyprus and Tooele High School. Bob graduated from Tooele High and attended Salt Lake Community College where he studied automobile/diesel mechanics. Bob married Barbara Espinoza in 1967. Bob and Barbara had two sons, Craig and Kevin. Bob retired from the Tooele Army Depot after working there for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and took his family hunting, fishing, and camping. Bob loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed all kinds of music and classic cars. Bob spent a lot of time working to restore his 1957 Chevrolet. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Shirley Grover, son, Craig Grover, brother, Alan Grover, nephew, Shane Grover. Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Grover, sons Kevin (Britt) Grover, Brennon Grover, brother Ron (Colleen) Grover, grandchildren, Craig, Keaton, Kamryn and Kyler all of Tooele, Utah along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Services and burial were held in the Tooele City Cemetery on Monday Oct 25, 2010.
