I have enjoyed Mrs. Bjorkman as we would put on programs on for the residents at the RM care facility. She was really so sweet and so gentle. She would always come up to us after the program and would love to visit. We missed her several weeks ago and heard this past weekend she was no longer a resident there. I loved her cane, so colorful. My Grandmother’s maiden name Bjorses, so I felt a little of a kin ship with our Scandinavian connection. As I said she was so sweet and gentle, I don’t think she had a mean bone in her body. You are truly blessed to have had such a sweet, gentle mother. Your memories of her will bless you and carry you through this trying time.

    Diane,
I want to thank you for all the kind words you sent about my mom Helen Bjorkman.
she loved music and being able to sing along with your group. She talked about your group all the time and invited me to come and join in, which I did when I could. I have to agree with you, Mom was kind and sweet. She was a people watcher and loved children. I*m doing ok and know she is in a better place. She didn’t have to suffer a whole lot if any and it was time for her to go. Its been 56 yrs since my father died. I feel they had a wonderful reunion. She lost the last member of her family in April, so that reunion with all her loved ones must have been wonderful as well. Again Thank you for your kind words. Sincerely , Rita Blanton
